Does anyone know if cobalt blue glass was made in Italy in 1968?

I’m not entirely sure, I mean I’m sure someone, somewhere in Italy was throwing around cobalt blue glass in 1968… but I will say that I’m pretty sure cobalt blue glassware is more a product of greece and southern france–I might be wrong…
Anyway, buy the canisters, they’re probably still cool.
