elegant depression glass
When it comes to collecting blue cobalt glassware, beauty certainly is in the eyes of the beholder. It is impossible to tell what a particular individual is going to fall in love with. Equally challenging is creating any piece of fine art which may be attractive to every person. Regardless of how eminent the master, there are a few persons that will not love or grasp his ability. On the other hand, there are items which turn out to be collectible and priceless, at least to the collector, merely for the reason that you enjoy possessing them looking at them.
well the name tells ya what it is but it is something i got for free because it had a nick in it (or crack) and please do not go around antique stores asking for freebies and the guy gave it to me and he offered so i was very happy and i hope you like my vid and rate it good

i know i collect the stuff but i did not think it could be this perty and YAY URANIUM

Is that glass (without introduction of UV) red? Or maybe it was blue? Mine is green.
no it was CLEAR and i have green, blue and i am going to get red soon also i have something that is yellow and pretty radioactive so i hope to document it soon
Most of the green stuff has (extremely) small amounts of Uranium Dioxide (UO2) in it. Yellow stuff, too, has Uranium in it.
all depression glass has uranium in it but the green beeps alot more and well I LIKE ANYTHING RADIOACTIVE
Interesting, I was not aware that depression glass could glow blue or red, I’ll have to keep my eyes open for them.
its the clear ones, but the green ones fluoresce beautifully!!
Cool, funny that i should learn about red depression glass when my local antique store just got a few pieces.
So naturally, i’m going to buy them. They also got a number of rare beads containing uranium from the 1860′s. The owner gave me one!
A BEAD very lucky!!
If I can get another, do you want one?
depends, how much?
Does it matter?
How much? As in money? Why free of course!
WELL THEN YES i would love one!
I’ll see what I can do.
thanks!!
