how much is antique cobalt blue jars?

cobalt blue glass dinnerwareWhen it comes to collecting blue cobalt glassware, beauty genuinely is in the eyes of the beholder. It is not possible to tell what a specific individual is going to fall in love with. Just as challenging is producing any piece of fine art which is able to be attractive to everyone. Regardless of how celebrated the master, there are certain persons that will not like or appreciate his art. On the other hand, there are pieces that turn out to be collectible as well as precious, at least to the collector, just because you take pleasure in having them looking at them.

I have two cobalt blue jars can some one tel me how much i can get out of these jar??

  1. Veronica Alicia says:

If you think they are Bristol blue glass or Venetian blue glass or a well-known pottery name (are they signed on the bottom?) they could be worth quite a bit, maybe as much as £3000 each.
The best person to advise is an antique dealer, but remember that he is probably quoting at least half what he thinks he could get for them so don’t be too eager to part with them quickly unless you are desperate for cash!
Perhaps find out what they are worth, if anything, then offer them on e-Bay.
