Glassware Dinnerware And Collectibles

Where can I find dishes that I originally got from Target about 6 years ago?

cobalt blue glass dinnerwareWhen it comes to collecting blue cobalt glass, beauty sincerely is in the eyes of the viewer. It is impossible to tell what a specific person is going to fall in love with. Just as difficult is creating any piece of art that may be attractive to everybody. No matter how great the master, there are some people that will not like or value his ability. On the other hand, there are items that become collectible and priceless, at least to you, merely because you get pleasure from possessing them looking at them.

I got a set of blue glass dishes from Target for our wedding about 6 years ago. I never got to get all the pieces I wanted. There is no company stamp on the bottom so I am not sure what to look for or where to look. I know it sounds cheesy to look for dishes I bought at Target, but I really like them. Any ideas of where to look? Target no longer sells this set.

I am pretty sure those were made by Libby, so you should still be able to find them. Sometimes in grocery stores, maybe WalMart. But I am pretty sure they still make them. Currently Target does have a nice selection of cobalt blue glasses. They currently have some glass meditterean blue plates only online , Moderno brand at Target.com.

I’d check on Ebay. It’s probably your best bet. Just describe them in your ebay search and scan all of the things that come up.

If you have the brand and style name try replacements.com, also try googling the style, you might find them on overstock.com or even ebay.

I would try ebay. Have found a lot of missing pieces of china and glass wear. Good luck!

I would call or look up the company that made the dishes. You may not have to go through target. You can find the company on line and describe the dish or the dish may even have the item number on it. Then you can see if they’re still made. You could also check places like E-Bay when you find out the name or brand of your dishes. Good luck and happy hunting. Also there is nothing wrong with Target, I really like there stuff too.
